The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in ~ ~.~.k~.,'e Committee Chairman
Rich Wagner, Councilmember Pat Burns, and Council b~.~kley. Staff in
attendance were Public Works Director Frank A. Cug'~"Pr neer Jack Locke.
ISSUES
A. CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - CONTRACT 92-05 - TO GARY MERLINO
CONSTRUCTION - STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. 287/PR509
Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie described the construction changes, and
the Committee forwarded a recommendation for approval to the Council at their
February 1, 1993 meeting.
B. FINAL PAY ESTIMATE NO. 2 - STREET IMPROVEMENT NO.
287/PR509, CONTRACT 92-05 - TO GARY MERLINO CONSTRUCTION
IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE
HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND NINETY-ONE CENTS
($104,555.91)
Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie described the project conclusions and
the need for the final pay estimate approval. The Committee forwarded a
recommendation for approval to the Council to be considered at the February 1,
1993 meeting.
CONSENT
A. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT 3.12.3480 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,447.28
Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie described the utility bill adjustment.
The Committee approved the adjustment and recommended approval to the
Council at their February 1, 1993 meeting.
DISCUSSION/INFORMATION
A. DISCUSSION AND REVIEW OF PROPOSED LID PROJECTS FOR 1993.
(DESCRIPTION OF AFFECTED AREAS AND TENTATIVE 1993 LID
WORK SCHEDULE)
Project Engineer Jack Locke began the meeting with a presentation of proposed
LID 341,371h Street S.E. 'A' to 'M' Streets. The project was discussed,
including project costs and assessment schedule, and public involvement. The
tentative date for the LID formation hearing is set for March '15, 1993.
A general overview of the proposed 1993 Sidewalk Program was presented by
Jack Locke, and informational packets were distributed regarding scheduling
and purchase of right-of-way. The formation hearing date is tentatively set for
April 5, 1993.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at
6:45 p.m.
