PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MINUTES APRIL 5, 1993

The meeting was cailed to order at 5;30 p.m. ~hose in attendance
were Committee Chairman Rich Wagner~ Counciimember Pat Burns~
Councilmember Mike Weekicy, and Councilmember Trish Borden.
Staff in attendance were Public Works Director Frank A. Currie~
Traffic Engineer Steve Mullen, and Pro~ect Engineer Jack Locke.
ISSUES
A. WATER FRANCHISE AGREEMENT - RESOLUTION NO. 2393 - EAST
HILL
Public Works Director Frank A. Currie described the
Agreement. The Committee recommended approval to the
Council at their April 5, 1993 meeting.
B. SEWER FRANCHISE AGREEMENT - RESOLUTION NO. 2402 - EAST
HILL
Public Works Director Frank A. Currie described the
Agreement. The Committee recommended approval to the
Council at their April 5, 1993 meeting.
C. CTR ORDINANCE NO. 4602
Traffic Engineer Steve Mullen responded to questions
about the Commute Trip Reduction Ordinance. The
Committee recommended approval to the Council at their
April 5, 1993 meeting.
D. CONSULTANT AGREEMENT - RESOLUTION NO. 2403 - SIGNAL
DESIGN (WEST VALLEY AND 37TH ST., AND 21ST ST. S.E. AND
'R' ST. S.E.)
Public Works Director Drank A. Currie described the
scope of the Consultant Agreement between the City of
Auburn and Bell-Walker Engineers. The Committee
recommended approval to the Council at their April 5,
1993 meeting.
E. CONSULTANT AGREEMENT - RESOLUTION NO. 2400 - SIGNAL
DESIGN (6TH ST. S.E. AND 'A' ST. S.E.) - MT. VIEW
GUARDRAIL
Public Works Director Frank A. Currie explained the
scope and construction funding of the Consultant
Agreement. The Committee recommended approval to the
Council at their April 5, 1993 meeting.

F. SEGREGATION OF ASSESSMENT LID 332 - RESOLUTION NO. 2394
Public Works Director Frank A. Currie described the
segregation and the location of LID 332. The Committee
recommended approval to the Council at their April 5,
1993 meeting.
CONSENT - The Committee recommended the following Consent
agenda items for approval by the City Council at
their April 5, 1993 meeting:

D. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENTS (5)
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
