The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance were Committee Chairman
Rich Wagner, and Councilmember Mike Weekley. Staff in attendance were Public Works
Director Frank A. Currie and City Engineer Dennis Dowdy. Guest in attendance was Stevan
E. Goreester, Pierce County Public Works Transportation Manager in regard to North Tapps
Highway Access.
ISSUES
A. AWARD BID FOR PROJFL"T 509, CONTRACT 93-01, ACADEMY DRIVE
AND AUBURN WAY SOUTH RE-BID TO WEST COAST
CONSTRUCTION ON THEIR LOW BID OF $580,723.76
Public Works Director Frank A. Curtie, and Ci Engineer Dennis Dowdy
explained the re-bid process regarding Contract ~3-01.
The Committee recommended approval to the Council at their April 19, 1993
meeting.
B. RESOLUTION NO. 2405 FOR SATELLITE WATER SYSTEM
AGREEMENT B~ THE CITY OF AUBURN AND RICHARD T.
WOODING AS AN AUTHORIZED OWNER FOR SMALKAMISH RIM
ESTATES
Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie described the Agreement.
The Committee recommended approval to the Council, predicated on renewal of
the plat at their April 19, 1993 meeting.
C. RESOLUTION NO. 2406, CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEME~ WITH
KCM FOR 1993 STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie explained the scope of the Consultant
Services Agreement.
The Committee recommended approval to the Council at their April 19, 1993
meeting.
DISCUSSION
NORTH TAPPS HIGHWAY ACCESS STUDY - PIERCE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
Pierce County Public Works Transportation Manager Stevan E. Gorcestor described the
establishment of the North Tapps Highway Access Study. Tenantive start-up, 1997.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at
6:50p.m.
