The meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m. Those in attendance were Committee Chairman
Rich Wagner, Councilmember Pat Bums and Councilmember Mike Weekley. Staff in
attendance were Public Works Director Frank A. Currie, Assistant Public Works Director
Alice Conrad, City Engineer Dennis Dowdy and Senior Engineer Dennis Selle.
ISSUES
A. RESOLUTION NO. 2425, Fixing time and place for Public Hearing on August
2, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. for the 1994-1999 Six-Year Street Program.
· The Assistant Public Works Director introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2425 and
City Engineer, Dennis Dowdy, described the thought processes behind updating
the six-year plan. He explained, in detail, the project definitions and the
process used to compile the priority listing. Maps and handouts were presented
to Councilmembers for review and discussion at the next Committee meeting.
The final 1994-1999 Six-Year Street Program will be prepared and distributed
at the next Committee meeting.
The Committee recommended approval of RESOLUTION NO.2425 to the
Council at their July 6, 1993 meeting.
B. RESOL~ON NO. 2408, Setting August 16, 1993 at 7:30p.m. as the dam and
time for the Public Hearing on the Final Assessment Roll for LID 345.
City Engineer, Dennis Dowdy, requested final assessment roll for LID 345 be
approved for the Public Hearing. Citizen adjustments and concerns have been
addressed and completed.
The Committee recommended approval to the Council at their July 6, 1993
meeting.
INFORMATION/DISCUSSION
A. Open discussion from Councilmembers and staff regarding status of sidewalks,
guard rails and code compliance.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at
6:15 p.m.
