The meeting was called to order at 5:50 p.m. Those in attendance were Committee Chairman
Rich Wagoner, Councilmember Pat Burns, and Councilmember Mike Weekley, and
Councilmember Don Kurle. Staff in attendance were Public Works Director Frank A. Curfie,
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy, Senior Engineer Dennis Selle, Traffic Engineer Steve Mullen,
and Utilities Engineer Rod Linja.
ISSUES
A. RESOLUTION NO. 2432, ADOPTING THE 1994-1999 COMPREHENSIVE
STREET PROGRAM
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy verified information given to Committee members
and staff members, and explained the rationale for the priority list.
The Committee members recommendation was to continue with the Public
Hearing and to further consider the input in support of approving the Street Plan
as proposed.
B. RESOLUTION NO. 243 l, AMENDMENT TO MILL CREEK INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN KING COUNTY AND THE CITIES OF AUBURN
AND KENT
City Engineer Dennis Dowdy introduced Resolution No. 2431. Utilities
Engineer Rod Linja explained the existing program and the need for the
amendment.
The Committee recommended approval to the Council at their August 2, 1993
meeting.
CONSENT
The Committee recommended the following Consent Agenda Items for approval, at
their August 2, 1993 meeting:
A. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT NO. 2.60.4698 IN THE
AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE
DOLLARS AND FORTY-SIX CENTS ($1,379.46)
B. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT NO. 2.42.2550 IN THE
AMOUNT OF FOUR THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX
DOLLARS AND TWO CENTS ($4,726.02) AND TO ACCOUNT NO.
3.12.2820 IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS
AND NINETY-THREE CENTS ($390.93)

There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at
