SECTION I: ~hat tne following are facts: On ~pril
19, 1927, the City vouncil of the vity of Auburn duly passed
and tte I.Ia~7or of said Ci ty duly approved Ordinance llo. 62b of
the vrdinance s 0 f said Oi ty, providing fo r the la~7 ing 0 ff,
opening, widening, extending and establisbing of 'c" street H.E.
in said 0ity, and providing th~t the entire cost of said im-
provement and expenses, except compensation for legal services,
should be assessed upon property specially benefited b~ such
improvement; the budget 0 fest imted expenditure s during the
year 1927, which budget was adopted by the ~ity ~ouncil in

it is contemplated that special counsel shall be employed, who

City of Auburn shall be a party, and that Buch special counsel
sball be paid_ a reasonable compensation therefor; and the sum of

maki~gthe budget of estimated expenditures from the current
expense fund of the City of huburn during the Near 1927, which
budget was adopted by the 0ity Council in October, 1926; and
that the estimated amount of expenditures required to ~eet such
emergenc~ is tbe sum of six hundred dollars (~600.00).
