All vRDIHAnvE fixing and levying a property tax of one and three-
fourths (1 3/4) mills on the dollar of all real and personal property
situate vlithin the corporate limits of tbe City of Auburn, as shown
upon the assessment rolls of King County, Nashington, for the year

SECTION 1. That for tbe purpose of raising funds with which to
pay the current expenses and proper maintenar~ce of the existing free
public library in Auburn, V'Iashington, for the ensuing year, and to
pay for certain capital outlays for such library, there shall be and
is hereby levied upon all of the real and personal property situate
within the present corporate lL:its of the vity of ";'u"burn, as shown
upon the assessment rolls of x..ing Gounty, ,jashington, for the year
.d.. D. 192'1, aftt.r the same has been equalized by the uounty and state
Board of Dqualization, a tax of one and tLree-fourths (1 3/4) mills
on each and every dollar of the equalized assessed valuation thereof.
SECTIon 2. That all moneys paid into the treasury of the City
of auburn on account of the tax herein levied sball be covered into
the library fund of said City.
I.IECTlon ;). Th~-..l.t this Ordinance shall not be construed as amend-
ing or repealing either ordinance LO. 202 or 283 of the vrdinances of
the Ui ty of Aubul'Il as to levys fJr puclic library purposes for future
years, but this ordinance shall be construed as govern~ absolutely
and to the exclusion of all otter ordinance2 ~ the 19B~ property tax
levy of the City of Auburn for public library purposes.
