The GRANTOR, Helen A. Shaughnessy, as her separate estate, for and in consideration of
Ten Dollars ($10.00), convey and quitclaims to the GRANTEE, City of Auburn, a Washington
municipal corporation, the following described real estate located in King County, Washington,
including any interest therein which the Grantor may hereafter acquire:

THAT PORTION OF GOVERNMENT LOT 10 OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 21
NORTH, RANGE 5 EAST, W.M. DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORTH HALF OF SAID
GOVERNMENT LOT 10; THENCE SOUTH 87° 37' 55" WEST ALONG THE SOUTH
BOUNDARY OF SAID SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTH HALF OF SAID GOVERNMENT LOT

AN ORDINANCE: Approving and accepting on behalf of The City
of Auburn a written, deed of conveyance from White River Valley Post.No.
1741, Veterans of Foreign Wars, dated November 30, 1938, for the pur-
pose of widening and improving a portion of Fourth Street S.E. in the
City of Auburn.
.THE CITY COUNCIL, OF TEE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That thutoertain written deed of conveyance, dated
November 30, 1938, wherein White River Valley Post No. 1741, Veterans
of Foreign Wars, is Grantor and The City of Auburn is Grantee and where-
by the Grantor therein conveys and quit-claims to The City of Auburn. for
public street and highway purposes, and for such purposes only, the
following described real estate:
The South 30 feet of the West 167.50 feet of Lot
52 of Riverview Addition to The City of Auburn as
the same appears on the recorded plat thereof now
of record in Volume 9 of plats, page 90, records
of King County, Washington, including river bed
ad3oining;
and which deed of conveyance has been tendered by said White River
Valley Post No. 1741, Veterans of r'oreign Wars, to The City of Auburn,
be and the same hereby is approved and accepted by The City of Auburn.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed
to file said written deed of conveyance with the County Auditor of
Sing County, .and that the land conveyed by said deed shall constitute
a portion of Fourth Street S.E. in The.City of Auburn.
