The required rear setback for a detached structure in the R- 10 zone is five (5) feet. The shed is currently attached to the north wall of a detached garage that is five (5) feet from the rear property line. The following case will be heard at the December 16, 2009 hearing Case No: VAR 09-0002 Applicant: Ms. Dayna Bedney Amerco Real Estate Company dba U-Haul Request: U-Haul is requesting a variance to sign height zoning standards to allow a sixty- five (65) foot high freestanding sign when only a thirty (30) foot sign would be allowed. The freestanding sign will consist of two pylons together with sign cabinets that will spell U-Haul and advertise the company’s moving and storage services. Page 1
