RESOLUTION NO. 4 72 _4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING
CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY° AS SURPLUS,
AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the police department is in possession of a vehicle that has been
forFeited to the City pursuant to the drug forfeiture stafutes; and
WHEREAS, following forFeiture, the Aubum Police Department retained the ,
vehicle for official use as authorized by drug forFeitute statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Aubum Police Department no longer needs the vehicle for
official use; and '
, WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City su_rplus the property and dispose of it
by auction or other sale mechanism, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN;
WASHINGTON `HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: _
Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus, and the
Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale.

Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon
passage and signatures hereon. ,
