September-October of the prior year: grantees develop their spending plan for the following year

January 1: Auburn’s program year begins
Late April: Auburn receives funding award amount for current year
July -November: grant agreements for current year are executed
Application materials were distributed in February 2022
Award amount estimated based on 2021 award: $651,632 (15% cap)
Actual 2022 award received: $598,383
