AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE VACATING OF A PORTION OF "B" STREET LOCATED IN
THE CITY OF AUBURN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURNs
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn has passed
and adopted a written Resolution resolving that a public hearing should
be had upon the petition of the owners of the property abutting the
portion of the street to be~e~ted, for the purpose of hearing whether
or not a portion of a street in the City of Auburn should h~v~cated,
said portion of the street being vacated being described as follows:
That portion of "B" Street Southeast lying south of a line
connecting the southeast corner of Lot 5, Block 2, Abraham's
Park Addition to Auburn with the southwest corner of Lot 5,
Block 3, Abrahamts Park Addition to Auburn and lying north
of the south line of said Abraham's Park Addition to Auburn,
all in the City of Auburn, County~of King~ State of
Washington.
WHEREAS, said petitioners have filed a written petition with
the City of Auburn to vacate the above described property upon which
the petitioners own all abutting property, and
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing to Vacate said portion of said
street was given by the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, posting
three (3) copies of said Notice in three (3) public places in the
City of Auburn, and a copy of said notice on the portion of said street
to be vacated, which posting was made on the 3rd day of October, 1956,
giving notice that the hearing on said petition was to be held on the
6th day of November, 1956, at 8:00 P.M. in the City Hall of the City
of Auburn, and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly called and had on the 6th
day of November, 1956 at 8:00 PoMo at the City Hallof the City of
Auburn.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:

described as:
That portion of "B" Street Southeast lying south of a line

connecting the southeast corner of Lot 5, Block 2, Abrahamts
Park Addition to Auburn with the southwest corner of Lot $,
Block 3, Abrahamts P~rk Addition to Auburn and Lying north
of the south ]ine. of said AbrahamTs Park Addition to Auburn,
all in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of ~ashington,
be and the same ±s hereby vacated providing and subject to reservation
in the City of Auburn of ~n easement for ingress and egress over,
across, upon and underneath the above described property for purpose
of ±nstalling, ma inta±n±ngr and conducting public utilit£esfof~a11
kinds, ±ncluding sewer maintenance, water maintenance, drains, power
lines, and communications, and the property lying in said portion of
said street shall be returned and belong to the abutting property
owner on said portion of said street subject to easement above described°
Sect±~.n 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
