AN ORDINANCE approving and confirminp': the~sse ssment aD:] the asseSB-
rnent roll certified to the Ci ty Council on the~th day of August, 1929,
by the Streets and Alleys Comrdttee and City EnQ'ineer for the costs of the
imrrovement in Local Improvement District No. 95 in the City of Auburn, in
pursuance of Ordinance No. 674, passed March 5, 1922, and providing for the
disposition of moneys collected on said assessment.
WHEREAS due notice has been given that objections to the assessment
and assessment roll hereinafter mentioned would be heard and determined by
tte City Council at the City Hall, Auburn, Washington, on the t'J)th day of
September, 1989, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., at which time the City bounci1
would meet to hear appeals and objections of any and all persons claiming
to be aggrieved by said assessment; and
V'HEREA8 the time for filing objections or taking an appeal has passed
and no objections thereto have been so filed; and
WHEREfS the City Council has carefully examined and considered suoh
assessment and assessment roll and is now fully advised in the premises;
;WW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDA IN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll certified to the
City Council on the 20th day of August, 1929, by the Streets and Alleys Com-
mittee and City Engineer of the City of Auburn, for the oosts of the improve-
ment of all that portion of Main street East, situate between E Street N. E.
a!ld R Street N. E., all in the C1 ty of Auburn, by the construction of a con-
crete and cement sidewalk six feet in width on the Northerly side of said
portion of said Main Street East, and by dOing of such other work as may be
necessary or proper to complete the improvement oonstituting Local Improve-
ment District No. 95, in the City of Auburn, in pursnanoe of Ordinance No.
674 of said City, passed March 5, 1929, and the levy and charge of the cost
of said improvement as shown upon said assessment roll and thereby appor-
tioned upon the adjoining, oontiguous and approximate lots and parcels of
land specially benefited, in aocordance with the laws of the State of Wash-
ington and Ordinance No. 674 of the City of Auburm, are hereby approved and
oonfirmed in all respects, and the City Treasurer 1S hereby direoted to col-
lect said assessment which may b~ paid without interest, penalty or costs
within thirty (30) days after due notice sha'll have been given to the owner
of the property within said assessment district by publication in the manner
provided by law, and if said assessments be not paid within said thirty (30)
days from the date of the first rJUblication of said -n"tioe, the same shall
bear interest thereafter at the rate of seven (7%) per cent, per annum.

confirmed by this Ordinanoe, are hereby ordered to be plaoed in Local Im-
provement Fund, Distriot No. 95, the special fund created by Ordinance No.
674, and all warrants drllWIl and bonds issued for the payment f said-im-
provement shall be issued on and ;:Jayab1e only out of said local improvement
fund.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be jn force five (5)
days from and after ita passage, approval and publication as required by
law.
