AN ORDINANOE providing for the investment of oertain moneys
now in the Munioipal Water ktension luna. of the City. of Auburn in
oertain Series "B" Jlunioipal Water ~tension Fund Bonds maturing on
Deoember 1,1938.
ViHEREA.S, the City of Auburn, heretofore and in January, 1925
by ordinanoe No. 66' adopted a plan for making extensions to its
water system and providing for the issuing of water works revenue
bonis to the amount of $200poO.OO to pay the oost thereof, which
system, inoluding suoh proposed issue of bonds was afterwards duly
assented to by the qualified eleotors of the City ot Auburn at a
speoial eleotion held for that purpose: and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn aftern.r4s and in pul'"St1&noe of
said OrdiDanoe No. 56'1 and of Ordinanoe NO. 589 ot the ordinanoes ot
said City issued and sold its Munioipal Water E2ttension llUld, Series
"An, Bonds to the amount of $100,000.00, eaoh of said bonds being
dated JlUle 1, 1925 and bearing interest at the rate of five (5) per
o ent per annuma and
WHEREA.S, the City of Auburn afterwards and in pursuanoe of the
provisions of said Ordinance No. 56'1 and of the provisions of crdin-
anoe No. 612 of the Ordinanoes of the City o:f Auburn isaued and sold
its 1lunioipa.l Water Extension li'u.nd, Series "B", Bonds amounting in
the aggregate to $100,000.00, eaoh of whioh boYs is dated Deoember 1,
1925 and bears interest at five and one-quarter (5 1/4) per cent per
ann1DD& and

Wm:REAS, the bOnds issued and sold as a.foresaid mature at
different dates, the last 01 svies irA" BOMS DBturing on June 1, 1'.'
and the last of Series "B" Bond. DBturing on Deoember 1, 19.'1; and
