", 0., '729 ORDINANCE NO. 7 ~ 9 AN ORDINANCE fixing the permanent property tax for library purposes in and for the City of Auburn, declaring said tax to be a continuing levy, and amending section 1 of Ordinance NO. 202 of the ordinances of the City of Auburn as amended by OrdiJ1tl.nce NOs. 283 and 717 of the ordinances of said city. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AlJBURN DO amAIN AS FOJ,LO':lS: ~ section 1. That section 1 of Ordinance No. 202 of the ordinances of the City of Auburn entitled "An ordinance fixing the perJW.nent property tax for library purposes in and for the town of Auburn, King County, Washington, and declaring said tax to be a continuing levy under and by virtue of the eleotion for that purpose held December 6, 1904" as a.mended by Ordinance No. 283 of the ord'inances of said city, as amended by Ordinance No. 717 of the ordinances of sa.id city, be and the same is hereby amended to read as fOllows: "Seotion 1. That there shall be and hereby is levied a property tax of one and one-quarter (It) mills on each and every dollar of the assessed valuation of the taxable property within the corporate limit s of 1;he City of Auburn, as said oorporate limits now exist, for library purposes, which levy is a.nd the same is hereby declared to be a continuing levy assessed from year to year until modified according to law." ~J1Jl~ E.
