AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF Al)BURN. WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 6 OF AUBURN CITY

TME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON. DO ORDAlN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 6 of Auburn City Ordinance No. 2499 passed November 2,
1970, which reads as follows:
"Section 6. Thqt the property lying contiguous to the Northerly marginal line
of the exi$t;.ng C;tyLimits of the City of Auburn hereinafter described be and the
same isheretly annexed to the City of Auburn, said property being more particularly
describeq as follows: . . .
Beginning at a point on the City of Auburn limits, said point being the inter-
section of the West marginal of 80th Ave. S. with the North line of Section 1.
Township 21 North, Range 4 E.W.M.; th North along the West marginal line of
80th Ave. S. to the extended North line of Tract 19. of White River Valley Home
Tracts located in Section 36, Township 22, Range 4 E.W.M.; th East along the
extended North line and the North line of Tract 19 of the White River Valley
Home Tracts to the East line thereof; th South along the East line of afore-
said Tract 19 to the South line of Wm. A. Cox Donation Claim No. 38; th East
along the South line of aforesaid Wm. A. Cox D.C. to the West line of Tract
30 of the White River Valley Home Tracts No.2; th North along the West line
of afores&id Tract 30 to the Westerly marginal 1i.ne of State Highway No.5
(East Valley Highway); th Northwesterly along the Westerly marginal line of
State Highway No.5 to its intersection with the North line of Wm. A. Cox D.C.
(Section 36. Township 22 North. Range 4 E.W.M.); th East along the North line
of Wm. A. Cox D.C. and the North line of Geo. E. King Donation Cla,;m No. 40
(Section 31, Townsh;p22 North, Range 5 E.W.M.) and said North line extended
to the thread of the Green River; th Southerly along the. thread of Green River
to its intersection with the East line of Section 6, TOWhship 21 North, Range
5 E.W.M.; th North &long the East line of aforesaid Section 6, to the Northeast
corner thereof; th West along the North line of s&id Section 6 and the North
line of Section 1, Township 21 North, Range 4 E.W.M. to the point of beginning.
Situate in the County of King, State of Washington."
IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"Section 6. That the property lying contiguous to the Northerly marginal line
of the existing City Limits of the City of Auburn hereinafter described be and the
s&me is hereby annexed to the City of Auburn, said property being more particularly
described as fQllows:

section of the West marginal of 80th Avenue South with the North line of
Section 1, Township 21 North, Range 4 East, W.M.; thence North along the West
marginal line of 80th Avenue South to the extended North line of Tract 19, of
Whi.te RiVer Valley Home Tracts. Volume 13 of Plats, Page 17 records of King
County, W&shington located in Section 36, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, W.M.;
thence East along the extended North line and the North line of Tract 19 of the
White River V&lley Home Tracts to the E:ast line thereof; thence South along ~he
East line of afores&id Tract 19 to the South line of Wm. A. Cox Donation C1alm;
thence East along the South line of said Wm. A. Cox Donation C1aim to the West
line of Section 31, Township 22 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; thence continuing
East along said South line of Wm. A. Cox Donation Claim to a point 813.14 feet
E&st of the West line of Section 31, said point being on a line also known as
the West line of Tract 30 of the unrecorded plat of White River Valley Home

Section 2. Upon the passage. ClPprova1 and publication of this Ordinance as
pro vi ded by 1 aw, the Auburn Ci ty Pl anning Di rector shall forward a certifi ed copy
thereof to the King County Boundary Review Board.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
