AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 6 OF AUBURN CITY
ORDINANCE NO. 2531 (APRIL 5, 197]) TO CORRECT AN ERRONEOUS LEGAl_ DESCRIPTION
OF REAL PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON IN SAID ORDINANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 6 of Auburn City Ordinance No. 2531 passed April 5, 1971,
which reads as follows:
"Section 6. That the property lying contiguous to the Westerly marginal line
of the~City Limits of the City of Auburn hereinafter described be and the
same is hereby annexed to the City of Auburn, said property being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Auburn City Limits, s~id poin~ being th~ NE corner
of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M., King Co~lnty, Wash.; th
W along the N line of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M.,
632.32 ft.; th N along the W boundary line of the Auburn City Limits and the E
line of 58th Avenue South to the N line of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4. E, W.M.; th W
along the N line of said Section 504.52 ft.; th S to the NE corner of Block 3,
Jovita Heights Addn. as recorded in Vol. 20 of Plats, Pg. 12, records of King
County, Wash.; th S along the W right-of-way line of 56th Avenue South to a
point 60 ft. W of the NW corner of Lot l, Block 39 of said plat of said Plat
of Jovita Heights Addition to the East line of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec 23,
Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M.; th North along the East line of said subdivision to the
point of beginning."
IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"Section 6. That the property lying contiguous to the Westerly marginal line
of the ~City Limits of the City of Auburn hereinafter described be and the

Beginning at a point on the Auburn City Limits, said point being the Northest
corner of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M., King County,
Wash.; th W along the N line of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E,
W.M., 653.32 ft.; th N along the W boundary line of the Auburn City Limits and
the E line of 58th Avenue South to the N line of Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M.;
th W along the N line of said Section 504.52 ft.; th S to the NE corner of
Block 3, Jovita Heights Addition as recorded in Vol. 20 of Plats, Page 12,
records of King County, Wash.; th S along the W right-of-way line of 56th Avenue
South to a point 60 ft. West of the NW ~Orner of Lot l, Block 39 of said plat of
Jovita Heights Addition; th E to said point; th Ely along the N 'line of Block 39
of said Plat of Jovita Heights Addition to the E line of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4 of
Sec 23, Twp 21 N, R 4 E, W.M.; th N along the E line of said subdivision to the
point of beginning."
Section 2. Upon the passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance as
provi~y law, the Auburn City Planning Director shall forward a certified copy
thereof to the King County Boundary Review Board.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days
from~its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
