AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF STREETRIGHT,OF-WAY SITUATE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn haVe passed and adopted Resolution
No. 482 resolving that a public hearing shall be had for the purpose of determining
whether or not the hereinafter desCribed street right,of-way situat~.~ on a portion of
"C" Street S.E. lying North of 8th Street S.EJ and West of Auburn Way South lying within
the corporate limits of the City of Auburn shall be Vacated, said portion ~o be vacated
being hereinafter legally described in Se'¢tio~l 1 of .t.~iS .,O~mdina~ce~-:. a~ '
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing to vacate the Portion of a certain street right-
of-way on a portion Of' '
. . C ~ Stremt S.E. Tying North of 8th Street S.E. and West of Auburn
Way South lYing within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, in the time and m.~nner
provided by law, giving notice that the hearing on said ResOlution ~1o. 482 was to be
held on the 18th day of OctOber, !971 at 8:00 P.MJ in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall of the City of Auburn, and no objections thereto were filed with the City Clerk
or presented to the City CoUncil at said hearing; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, haVing deemed that the Petition for vacation was proper
and that no vested rights woUld be affected by thesame;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
section 1. That the followingdescribed portion of a certain street right-of-way
situate on a portion of "C" Street S.EJ lying North of 8th Street S.E, and West of
Auburn Way SoUth lying within the corporate limits of the Cityof Auburn, more parti-
cularly describedas follows:
That portion of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec 19, Twp 21 N,
R 5 E, W;MJ Begin at the NE corner of Lot lB, Block 8, Hart's First Addn
to the ToWn of Auburn as recorded!in Vol. 20. pg. 23 of Plats, records of
King County, Wash;; th S 4°01'42!' W along the Ely margin of said Block 8,
100.33 ft. to a point on the Nly margin' of 8th St, SLE., said point being
the point of curve of a curve ha~ing a radius of 75:.64 ft., a radial bearing
of N 0°37,49!' W and a central angle of 44°22'~1"; th NEly along said curve
58.57 ft.; th N 450 E, 16,21 ft. to the point of curve Of a Curve having a
radius of 6271.96 ft.; a radial bearing of N 52~08'26,' E and a central 'angle
of 7°21,11";'th NWly along said curve 80.59 ft; to the!point of intercept
of said curve with the Nly margin of said BlockS, Hart's IFirst Addn to the
Town of Auburn, projected Ely and th S 89°22'11'' W a)ong~said projected Nly
margin, 11.80 ft. to the POB.
Be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in said portion of a certain
street right-of-way described hereinabove, shall be returned and belong to the abutting
property owner, ROBERT LLOYD, of said portion of a certain street right-of-way situate
on a portion of "C" Street S.E, lying North of 8th Street S.E. and West of Auburn Way
South within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn.

section 2.. That the request for Vacation of streetbe granted subject to a
utility easement over the entire parcel to be restricted so that no ingress or egress
will beallowed from Auburn WU SoUth or 8th Street S.E, across the parcel being
vacated to eliminate traffic congestion at theinterSection.
section 3. That this OrdinanceShall take effect five (5) d~s from and after
its passage, approval and publication, as provided bylaw.
