AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR
THEVACATION OF'STREETRIGHT-OF-WAY SITUATE WITHIN]THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY'OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON. ~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, have passed and adopted
Resolution No. 636, resolving that a public hearing shall be had for the purpose
of determining whether or not the hereinafter described s~reet right-of-way situate
and known as the East Side of "C" Street Southwest, adjacent to 3rd Street South-
west, within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, shall be vacated, said
portion to be vacated being hereinafter legally described in Section 1 of this
Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing to vacate the portion of a certain street
right-of-way known as the East side of "C" Street Southwest, adjacent to 3rd
Street Southwest, lying within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, in
the time and manner provided by law, giving notice that the hearing on said
Resolution No. 636 was to be held on the 1st day of July, 1974, at 8:00 P.M.
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Auburn, no objections
thereto were filed with the City Clerk or presented to the City Council at said
hearing; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, having deemed that the petition for vacation
was proper and that no vested rights would be affected by the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SectiOn 1. That the following described portion of a certain street right-
of-way situate on the East side of "C" Street Southwest, adjacent to 3rd Street
Southwest, within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 1. Central
Addition to the Town of Auburn, Os recorded in Volume 20 of
Plats, page 69;' records of King County, Washington; Thence '
South 89°57'35'' East along the South boundary of said Lot 7,,
44.83 'feet to the True Point of Beginning; Thence South 33°
11'00!' East parallel to the existing centerline of "C" Street

SoUthwest; 113,19 feet to thePoint Curvature of a curve
tO the left, said curve having ~a radius of 27 feet and a
radial b~aring of North 6°49'D0" East; ThenCe SoUtheasterly
along said curve to its point of intersection with the Westerly
Boundary of theBURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD right,of-way;
Thence North'3°39'35" West along said Westerly boundary of
the BURLINGTON-NORTHERN RAILROAD right,of-w~,103 feet more

feet to the True Point of Beginning, situate in Section 13, .

to 3rd Street Southwest, lYing within the corporate limits of the City of
Auburn.
SeCtion 2. That the request for vacation of street right,of-way be
granted subject to a public utility easement over, across, upon and underneath
theentire Vacated street for ingress and egress for the purposeof installing
and maintaining all public Utilities.
section 3. Upon the Passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance.

section 4. That this Ordinance Shall take effect five {5} days from and
