AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHI:NGTON, AMENDING SECTION 4 OF AUBURN
CITY ORDINANCES 2736 (PASSED JUNE 4, 1973), 2765 (PASSED OCTOBER 1,
1973), 2779 (PASSED DECEMBER 3, 1973) AND 2781 (PASSED DECEMBER
17, 1973), CREATING LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS 278, 279, 2$1
AND 282.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 4 of Auburn City Ordinances 2736, 2765, 2779 and
2781, which reads as follows:
"All of the costs and expenses of all engineering, legal, in-
spection, advertising, publication and notices, and all other
expenses incident thereto, shall be levied and assessed against
all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor,
as provided by the laws of the State of Washington and the
Ordinances of the City of Auburn. The City shall not be liable
in any manner for any portion of the cost and expenses of said
improvements."
be amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. Applicable costs and expenses of all engineering,
legal, inspection, advertising, publication and notices, and all other
expenses incident thereto, shall be levied and assessed against all
of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by
the laws of the State of Washington and the Ordinances of the City of
Auburn."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
