AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 216 "A" STREET NpRTHWEST, WZTNIN THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTpN, CHANGING TNE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
THEREOF FROM R-4 TO C-2.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
~ Auburn, Washington,_by ALAN gIMIG, requesting the rezvning of the r~al property
~ hereinafter descri:bed in Section l of this Ordinance, which petition was dated
~ November 3, 1975; and
WHEREAS,said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 8:00 P.M. on December 2, 1975,
at the conclusion of which the Corronission recommended the approval of the rezoning
of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn held a public hearing
in the City Hall of the City of Auburn at 8:00 P.M. on January 5, 1976, at which
time the City Council concurred with the recomendations of the Planning Commission
as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located at 216 "A" Street
Northwest, situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be
and the same is hereby rezoned from R-4 (Multi-Family) to C-2 (Central Business),
to-wit:
Lot 17 and the South 112 of Lot 18 in Block 2 of L.'' W:-`
Ballard's Park Ad'dition to Slaughter, as per plat recorded
in Volume,3 of Plats on Page 91, Records of King County;
together with-the East 10 feet of abutting "A" Street North-
west, formerly Silver Street, heretofore vacated; situate in -
the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington.

Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
City of Auburn encompassing this zoning ase classification change, which amendment
is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby approved.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby authorized
~q- and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County

Auditor's Office.

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
P daYs from and after its Passa9e, apProval and Publication, as provided bY law.
