AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ADDING TWO NEW SECTIONS TO
CHAPTER 4.10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
(PERTAINING TO GARBAGE COLLECTION AND RATES) TO BE KNOWN AS
ORDINANCE 4.10.265 (TEMPORARY SERVICE CONTAINER USE CHARGE
IN LIEU OF RENTAL) AND 4.10.266 (SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR
SERVICE NOT PROVIDED FOR PER CONTRACT WITH R.S.T. DISPOSAL,
INC. HOURLY CHARGE AND SPECIAL REQUESTED SERVICES).
TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is herewith added to Chapter 4.10 of the Codified Ordinances
of the City of Auburn, Washington, the following new Codified Ordinance:
"4.10.265 Temporary service container use charge in lieu of
rental.
(A) Temporary service (i.e. Demolition Material) - When a container
or containers, twenty (20) and thirty (30) cubic yard (drop boxes), are provided for
temporary service, the customer shall pay an initial delivery charge of ten (10)
dollars plus a minimum of two (2) dollars rental per day for each day or fraction
thereof, the container is in service. The material disposed of for temporary service
does not ordinarily contain putrescibles and is disposed of by weight. The customer
shall therefore pay the dump fee for each dump whether disposed of by weight or by
the cubic yard. The hauling charge shall be as follows:
20 cubic yard container ..................$26.00
30 cubic yard container ..................$36.00
City of Auburn's share shall be ten (10) percent of all fees except disposal
(dump) charges (which per above are to be paid by the customer)."
Section 2. There is herewith added to Chapter 4.10 of the Codified City
Ordinances of the City of Auburn, the following new Section:
"4.10.266 Schedule of charges for service not provided for per
contract with R.S.T. Disposal, Inc. hourly charge and special requested services.
(A) Hourly charge - Where the contractor provides the service of
cleanup, the hourly charge for a truck and driver shall be twenty-two (22) dollars
per hour and each extra man shall be at the rate of eight (8) dollars per hour.
Where hourly charges are made, the customer shall pay the dump fee.

City of Auburn's share shall be ten (10) perecent af all fees except
disposal (dump) charges (which per above are to be paid by the customer).
(B) Special washing and sanitizing of containers and drop boxes.
Customer requests for special steam cleaning and sanitizing shall be at the rate
of seven (7) dollars and fifty (50) cents (inc1udes pickup and de1ivery) on ane (1)
and two (2) cubic yard containers, and twenty-two (22) dollars (includes pickup and
delivery) on containers (drop boxes) ten (10) through fifty (50) cubic yard.
The City of Auburn's share shall be ten (10) percent of each such
transaction.
(C) Special and/or unscheduled container dumps of 1 and 2 cubic
yard containers.
Special and/or unscheduled customer requests for additional collection
shall be at the rate of five (5) dollars for one (1) cubic yard containers, and
seven (7) dollars for two (2) cubic yard containers.
The City of Auburn's share shall be ten (10) percent of each such
transaction."
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publicatinn, as provided by law.

I furtller certify that said Oxdinance No. 3044 was duly passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn and published as
provided by law in the Auburn Globe-News, a weekly newspaper published in the
City of Auburn, and of general circulation therein, on the 6th day of
February , A.n., 1976 .
