AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 13.04.110 OF
THE AUBURN CITY CODE (PRIOR M0. 10.08.100 AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE N0.
3010, PASSED SEPTEMBER 15, 1975) RELATING TO INSTALLATION FEES FOR
WATER METERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 13.04.110 of the Auburn City Code (prior code number
10.08.100 Auburn City Ordinance No. 3010), which reads as follows:
"13.04.110 Installation fees. The fees for the installation
of water service as hereinabove provided shall be as follows:
SERVICE METER UNSURFACED PAVED OR OIL
SIZE SIZE STREET SURFACED STREET
3/4" 5/8 x 3/4" $225.00 $275.00
1" 1" $325.00 $375.00
1 1/2" 1 1/2" $510.00 $560.00
2" 2" $600.00 $650.00
For all meters over two (2) inch .............Cost plus fifty percent (50%)
Until swch time as meters are installed as herein provided, consumers without
meters shall pay a flat rate of $4.50 per month."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
1113.04.110 Installation fees. The fees for the installation
of water service as hereinabove provided shall be as follows:

1" 1" $325.00 $375.00
1 1/2" 1 1/2" $510.00 $560.00
2" 2" $600.00 $650.00
For all meters over two (2) inch, the owner or applicant shall pay a deposit
in the amount of the City estimate of the cost for construction work and the
work shall be thereafter billed on the basis of actual cost of installation plus
15% handling and overhead. The applicant shall be refunded any underrun or
billed any overrun of the actual cost over the estimated cost including administra-
tive overhead.
Until such time as meters are installed as herein provided, consumers without
meters shall pay a flat rate of $4.50 per month."

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
