ORDINANCE NO. 3 2 4 2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE NO. 3090 (PASSED JULY 6, 1976) PERTAINING
TO THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY PURCHASED
FOR CEMETERY EXPANSION TO THE CITY OF AUBURN.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Auburn City Ordinance No. 3090, (passed July
6, 1976) which reads as follows:
"Pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the laws of
the State of Washington, the following real property purchased
for cemetery expansion at the Mt. View Cemetery, said real pro-
perty being utilized for municipal purposes, shall be annexed
to and become part of the City of Auburn, Washington, and legally
described as follows:
Lot 51 of West Auburn Five Acre Tracts, as per plat
recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, on page 12, records
of King County, Washington, situated in the City of
Auburn, County of King, State of Washi ngton."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the laws
of the State of Washington, the following real property purchased for cemetery
expansion at the Mt. View Cemetery, said real property being utilized for
municipal purposes, shall be annexed to and become part of the City of Auburn,
Washington, and legally described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Auburn City Limits, said point being
the intersection of the northerly marginal line of So. 33lst St.
AKA Knickerbocker Road and/or Mt. View Drive with the east line of
the southwest quarter of Section 14, Township 21 North, Range 4 East
W.M.; thence westerly along the north line of said So. 331st St. to
the southwest corner of Tract 71, West Auburn Five Acre Tracts as
recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, page 12, records of King County, Wash.;
thence north along the west line of tracts 71, 61, 60 and 51 said West
Auburn Five Acre Tracts to the northwest corner of Tract 51; thence
east along the north line of Tract 51 and the extended north line of
Tract 51 to the east line of the northwest quarter of Section 14,
Township 21 North, Range 4, East W.M. (Auburn City Limits as estab-
lished by City Ordinance No. 1387); thence south along the east
line of the northwest quarter and the southwest quarter of said
Section 14 to the true point of beginning, situate in King County,
Washington.

Section 2. That upon the passage, approval and publication in due and
regular form of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a

true and certified copy of this Ordinance to be recorded in the Office of
the County Auditor of King County, and pay the recording fee therefor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
