AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, INCREASING
2 ON AND AFTER JANUARY 1, 1988, FOR THOSE COUNCILMEMBERS ELIGIBLE
THEREFORE, THEIR MONTHLY SALARY FROM $425.00 PER MONTH TO $475.00
3 PER MONTH; AND INCREASING ON AND AFTER JANUARY 1, 1990, FOR THOSE
COUNCILMEMBERS ELIGIBLE THEREFORE, THEIR MONTHLY SALARY FROM $475.00
4 PER MONTH TO $525.00 PER MONTH AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT THEREFORE.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 Section 1. On and after January 1, 1988, for those councilmembers eli-
7 gible therefore, their monthly salary shall be increased from $425.00 per
8 month to $475.00 per month; and for those council members eligible on and after
9 January 1, 1990, an increase in their monthly salary from $475.00 per month to
10 $525.00 per month.
11 Section 2. Payment. The compensation provided for in this Section shall
12 be paid on the 1st day of each month next succeeding the month in which such
13 service are performed, by proper warrants drawn upon the finance director of
14 the City.
15 Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
16 administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
17 this legislation.
18 Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days

from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
