AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN ,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4512, WHICH HAD APPROVED
AN APPROPRIATION OF GRANT FUNDS, BY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AMENDMENT "A" TO THE APPROVED GRANT CONTRACT TO
INCREASE THE TOTAL FUNDS TO BE REIMBURSED TO THE CITY FROM
THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BY
THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($732) FOR A
TOTAL AMOUNT OF TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS
($2,604) FOR AN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Ordinance No. 4512 adopted by the Council
on September 3, 1991 is hereby amended to approve the
increased expenditure and appropriation of the sum of SEVEN
HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($732) for a total amount of TWO
THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS (2,604) which constitutes
a grant pursuant to the Agreement between the city of Auburn
and the Washington State Department of Community
Development.
section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Auburn are authorized to execute Amendment "A" to Emergency
Management Program (EMP) Contract Number 1-92-622-1 to
increase the grant funding to the City of Auburn for use by
the City to increase the operational capability for
emergency management. A copy of said Amendment "A" is
attached hereto and designated Exhibit "1" and is
incorporated by reference herein.

Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement

such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
4
out the directions of this legislation.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.

AMENDMENT A
Paragraph 1. FUNDING of this contract is amended to increase the
total funds to be reimbursed by $732 from $1,872 to $2,604.
Expenditure of these funds is for the same period as the
underlying contract, July 1, 1991 through September 30, 1991.
This amendment is effective September 20, 1991.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the DEPARTMENT and CONTRACTOR have executed
this contract amendment as of the date and year written below.
