AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHING'I'ON, AMENDING
AUBURN CITY CODE 13.20.440 ENTITLED FEES AND CHARGES TO
INCORPORATE AN INCREASE IN SEWER RATES TO IMPLEMENT THE METRO
WHOLESALE RATE INCREASE AND TO OFFSET INFLATION-RELATED
INCREASES IN OPERATING EXPENSE WHICH HAVE OCCURRED SINCE 1990.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

section 1. The purpose of this amendment is to

incorporate an increase in sewer rates to implement an
increase by Metro for 1992 sewer charges and to offset
11
inflation-related increases in operating expense which have
12
13
14
occurred since 1990 into the monthly sewer rate for Auburn
residents.
section 2. section 13.20.440, entitled "Fees and

charges" of Chapter 13.20 of the Auburn city Code, be amended
16

as follows:

Effective the first billing of January, 1992, the monthly
sewer rates for Auburn residents will be as follows:
