AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 1992 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 35A.33,
the Mayor of the City of Auburn has heretofore duly completed
8

and placed on file with the city Clerk of the City of Auburn a
preliminary budget for the year 1992; the city Council has
conducted public hearings on September 16, 1991 and November
18, 1991 to consider this preliminary budget; thereafter,
13
notice was thereupon duly published as required by law stating
14
that the Mayor had completed and placed on file such
preliminary budget, that a copy would be furnished to any
15
16
taxpayer who would call therefor at the office of the City
Clerk, that the City Council of the City of Auburn would meet
17
on December 2, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of fixing
the final budget, that any taxpayer might appear at such time
and be heard for or against any part of such budget, and that
the place of such meetings was the Council Chambers of the
Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, Washington; the
Mayor of the City of Auburn duly provided a suitable number of

copies of such detailed preliminary budget to meet the

reasonable demands of taxpayers therefor; the Mayor and the
City Council of the City of Auburn duly met at the time

designated in said notice in the Council Chambers of the

Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main street, Auburn, Washington on
7
December 2, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. and any and all taxpayers of the
city of Auburn were given full opportunity to be heard for or
8
9
against such budget; during the meeting held by the City
10
Council on the 2nd day of December, 1991 the Council
considered the budget and modifications thereof and does
11
12
hereby adopt the 1992 Budget for the City of Auburn,
13
Washington, as follows:

Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement

such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
4

out the directions of this legislation.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
7

publication, as provided by law.
