HomeMy WebLinkAbout4555 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 1 ORDIIIAHCB 110. 4 5 5 5 2 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE SUM OF $278,000 1992-1993 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS. 4 5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn must 6 adopt and approve all appropriations by ordinance pursuant to 7 Chapter 35A RCW; 8 9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 10 Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 3 5A. 33 RCW, the City 11 hereby approves the expenditure and appropriation of $278,000 12 13 in 1992-1993 Community Development Block Grant funds, as approved and recommended by the Planning & Communi ty 14 Development Committee of the City of Auburn. The specific 15 expenditures are itemized in the attached Exhibit "A", which is incorporated by reference in this Ordinance. section 2. The project funds must be used to the benefit of low and moderate income residents. Funding for social service programs is limited to fifteen percent (15%) of the total grant amount. Twenty percent (20%) of the grant amount may be used for program administration. Section 3.
