AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON Mi[ENDING AUBURN
3 CITY CODE SECTION 15.32.010 ENTITLED "ADDITION,~L PROVISIONS
ADOPTED" CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 15.32 ENTITLED "SIGN CODE" BY
4 ADOPTING THE 1991 UNIFORM SIGN CODE AND REPE1~LING SECTION
15.32.050 ENTITLED "SECTION 103(C) AMENDED--APPEAL AND APPEAL
5 PROCEDURES" AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 15.32.050 ENTITLED
"APPEALS" WHICH AMENDS APPEAL PROCEDURES CONTAINED IN SECTION
6 103(c) OF THE 1991 UNIFORM SIGN CODE.

WHEREAS, the City of Auburn desires to amend Auburn City
Code Section 15.32.010 entitled "Additional provisions

Adopted" contained in Chapter 15.32 entitled "Sign Code" to
adopt the 1991 Uniform Sign Code and to repeal Auburn city
Code Section 15.32.050 and to add a new Section 15.32.050

which amends appeal procedures contained in Section 103(c) of

the 1991 Uniform Sign Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

section 1. PURPOSB. The purpose of this ordinance is to
amend Auburn City Code Section 15.32.010 entitled "Additional

provisions Adopted" contained in Chapter 15.32 entitled "Sign
Code" to adopt the 1991 Uniform Sign Code and to repeal Auburn
City Code Section 15.32.050 entitled "Section 103(c) amended--
Appeal and appeal procedures" and to add a new Section
15.32.050 entitled "Appeals" which amends appeal procedures
contained in Section 103 (c) of the 1991 Uniform Si,gn Code.

Section 2. AMENDMENTS. Sections 15.32.010 of the Auburn

city Code shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit "A"

attached hereto and incorporated herein.

Section 3 .
Auburn City
REPEAL 01' SECTIOR 15 . 32 . 050.

Code Section 15.32.050 entitled "Section 103(c) amended--

Appeal and appeal procedures" contained in Chapter 15.32
entitled "Sign Code" is herewith repealed in its entirety.
Section 4. REW SECTIOR 15.32.050. There is hereby added

to Chapter 15.32 entitled "Sign Code" a new Section 15.32.050
11
as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated
12
herein.

Section 5.
Should any section,
SEVERABILITY.

subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any
reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 6. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necess,ary to carry
out the directives of this legislation.

Section 7. This Ordinance shall take effE!ct and be in

force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
