HomeMy WebLinkAbout4603 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 lO 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDINANCE NO. 4 6 0 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE SECTIONS 10.36.380, 10.36.390 AND 10.40.020 PERTAINING TO PARKING LIMITATIONS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following streets as set forth in Section 10.36.380, entitled "One-hour parking zones" of the Auburn City Code, are herewith removed and added to Section 10.36.390, entitled "Two-hour parking zones": East Main and West Main Streets, both sides between "B" Street Northwest and Southwest and "E" Street Northeast and Southeast. North Division Street, west side beginning at a point one hundred ten feet north of 1st Street Northwest to the north curbline of 1st Street Northwest. South Division Street, west side beginning at the south curbline of West Main Street continuing south to the north curbline of 1st Street Southwest. Section 2. Auburn City Code Section amended to read as follows: 10.40.020 is hereby 10.40.020 ((~we)) Three-hour parking limits. All municipal off-street parking facilities operated by the city, unless posted otherwise, are established as Ordinance No. 4603 January 18, 1993 Page 1 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 1 2 3 4 5 6 ((~we)) three-hour non-metered parking zones, which ((ewe)) three-hour parking limitation shall exist from nine a.m. to six p.m. daily, excluding Sundays and holidays; provided, however, the Auburn police chief is herewith granted, subject to the approval of the mayor, authority to declare parking moratoriums on ten parking stalls or less where he finds such moratoriums in the best interest of the citizens of Auburn. Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. Section 4.
