ORDINANCE NO. 4 6 6 8
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF INDUSTRY
DRIVE S.W. LOCATED NORTH OF 15TH STREET S.W%, WITHIN THE CITY
OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, Petition No. V-06-93 has been filed by the
owners of two-thirds or more of the property abutting the
portion of right of way requested to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the statute requires that the City Council
schedule a public hearing when a valid petition is filed with
the City; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on April 18, 1994
before the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The street right of way to be
located on that portion of Industry Drive S.W.
of 15th Street S.W., legally described as follows:
THAT PORTION OF INDUSTRY DRIVE SOUTHWEST AS
SHOWN AND SO DESIGNATED ON AUBURN 400 CORPORATE
PARK DIVISION I, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN VOLUME 128 OF PLATS, PAGES 97
THROUGH 99, RECORDS OF KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE CENTERLINE INTERSECTION OF
SAID INDUSTRY DRIVE SOUTHWEST AND 15TH STREET
SOUTHWEST, THENCE NORTH 00°14'30'' WEST 1.84.63
FEET ALONG SAID CENTERLINE OF INDUSTRY DRIVE
SOUTHWEST TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;

THENCE NORTH 89019'52'' EAST 80.00 FEET ALONG
SAID NORTH LINE TO THE EASTERLY MARGIN OF SAID
INDUSTRY DRIVE SOUTHWEST;
THENCE SOUTH 00°14t30" EAST 260.58 FEET ALONG
SAID EASTERLY MARGIN TO A POINT WHICH BEARS
NORTH 89045'30'' EAST FROM THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
THENCE SOUTH 89045'30'' WEST 40.00 FEET TO THE
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
THE PARCEL DESCRIBED ABOVE CONTAINS 20,823
SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS.
SITUATE IN AUBURN, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in
said portion of a certain street right of way described
hereinabove, shall be returned and belong to those persons
entitled to receive the property in accordance with the law.
Section 2. The City hereby retains a utility easement
for the construction, repair and maintenance of all utilities
over, across, upon and underneath the property described in
Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3, The street vacation is hereby approved
subject to providing legal access to Tax Lots 24214-9076 and
24214-9012.

of this Ordinance, the City Clerk for the City of Auburn shall

cause this Ordinance to be recorded in

Section 5. The Mayor is hereby
