OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF "O" STREET
S.W. LOCATED NORTH OF 15TH STREET S.W., WITHIN THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, Petition No. V-04-93 has been filed by the
owners of two-thirds or more of the property abutting' the
portion of right of way requested to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the statute requires that the City Council
schedule a public hearing when a valid petition is filed with
the city; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on April 18, 1994
before the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The street right of way to be vacated is
located on that portion of "0" Street S.W. located North of
15th Street S.W., legally described as follows:
THAT PORTION OF "O" AS SHOWN AND SO DESIGNATED
ON AUBURN 400 CORPORATE PARK DIVISION I,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN
VOLUME 128 OF PLATS, PAGES 97 THROUGH 99,
RECORDS OF KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE CENTERLINE INTERSECTION OF
SAID "0" STREET AND 15TH STREET SOUTHWEST,
THENCE NORTH 00°34,56'' WEST 285.00 FEET ALONG
SAID CENTERLINE OF "O" STREET TO THE TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING;

WESTERLY MARGIN OF SAID "O" STREET;
THENCE NORTH 00°34'56'' WEST 164.99 FEET ALONG
SAID WESTERLY MARGIN TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID
PLAT;
THENCE NORTH 88°38'10TM EAST 40.00 FEET ALONG
SAID NORTH LINE TO AN ANGLE POINT THEREIN;
THENCE NORTH 89019'52'' EAST 40.00 FEET ALONG
SAID NORTH LINE TO THE EASTERLY MARGIN OF SAID
"O" STREET.
THENCE SOUTH 00034'56'' EAST 165.10 FEET ALONG
SAID EASTERLY MARGIN TO A POINT WHICH BEARS
NORTH 89°25'04'' EAST FROM THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
THENCE SOUTH 89025'04'' WEST 40.00 FEET TO THE
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
THE PARCEL DESCRIBED ABOVE CONTAINS 13,193
SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS.
SITUATE IN THE CITY OF AUBURN, KING COUNTY,
WASHINGTON.
be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in
said portion of a certain street right of way described
hereinabove, shall be returned and belong to those persons
entitled to receive the property in accordance with the law.
Section Z. The City hereby retains a utility easement
for the construction, repair and maintenance Of all utilities
over, across, upon and underneath the property described in
Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. The street vacation is hereby approved
subject to providing legal access to Tax Lot 232104-9031.
Section 4. Upon the passage, approval and publication
of this Ordinance, the City Clerk for the City of Auburn shall

cause this Ordinance to be recorded

Section 5. The Mayor is hereby authorized
such administrative procedures as may
