AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTONf FORMALLY ESTABLISHING THE AUBURN FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, inquiry has been made as to the ,establishment
date of the Auburn Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has conducted a review of various
city records and minutes and found that the minutes of
September 20, 1920, regular session, City Council, read as
follows:
"Mayor Ester appointed Mr. C.
Fire Chief with power

WHEREAS, the minutes of September 27, 1920, indicated
that a special committee was formed for the revision of the

Section 1.
Department.
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
There is hereby established the Auburn
