HomeMy WebLinkAbout4766' RFCFIVED CITY OF AUBURN SEP 2 0 1995 25 West Main KING COUNTY Auburn, WA 98001 RECORDER ] .4766 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, 3 WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4627 BY REVISING CONDITION NO. 8.E, TRANSPORTATION. 4 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 4627 approved by the City Council of the City of Auburn on April 28, 1993 provided for the rezone of approximately 60 acres of property from M-1 to C-3 and adopted certain conditions of approval; and 8 WHEREAS, Condition No. 8.E of Ordinance No. 4627 required the SuperMall developer to prepare a Transportation Demand 10 Management Program and a Transportation System Management Program that included the provision of a 500 stall park and ride lot and a covered walkway from an on site transit center 0~ to the mall; and ~ ]4 ~ WHEREAS, the SuperMall has requested that Condition 8.E be revised so that the park and ride lot and the covered walkway be provided at a later date since Metro has indicated ]7 that they are not in the position to provide transit service ]8 to the Mall at this time; and ]9 WHEREAS, Condition No. 20 of Ordinance No. 4627 allows 20 amendments to be made to said Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to Ordinance No. 4627 is 22 considered a minor change and has therefore been reviewed by the Planning and Community Development Committee of the ~4 Council and approved by the City Council; 25 28 Ordinance No. 4766 July 7, 1995 Page 1 ! NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ City of Auburn Ordinance No. 4627 approved by 4 the City Council on April 28, 1993, is hereby amended to 5 revise Condition No. 8.E. A copy of said revised Condition No. 8.E is attached hereto as Attachment "A". ? Section 2. All remaining sections and amendments to 8 Ordinance No. 4627 shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement 10 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 4.
