AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, REPEALING AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4832, PASSED
FEBRUARY 5, 1996, WHICH APPROVED FEDERAL ISTEA GR3LNT FUNDS
WITH LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS RELATING TO THE COMMERCIAL SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FROM 15TH STREET NE TO NORTH CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn must
adopt and approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to
Chapter 35A.33 RCW; and
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
~ Auburn City Ordinance No. 4:832, passed
February 5, 1996, which approved the expenditure and
appropriation of Federal ISTEA Grant Funds in the amount of
$105,098.00 with local matching funds of $100,402.00 from
Local Improvement District No. 346 to prepare and implement
the commercial sidewalk improvement project from 15th Street
NE to north City limits, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
This project was previously approved by Auburn City Ordinance
No. 4799 passed by the City Council on October 16, 1995.
~ The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.

~ This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
