AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5323, THE 2000 BUDGET
ORDINANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT SCHEDULE "A"
WHICH RELATES TO THE CITY OF AUBURN 2000 BUDGET FOR
ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS IN SEVERAL
FUNDS PURSUANT TO RCW 35A.33.120, AND SETTING FORTH FINDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council at its regular meeting of December
6, 1999, adopted Ordinance No. 5323 which adopted the City of Auburn 2000
budget; and
WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council at its regular meeting of July 12,
2000, amended Ordinance No. 5323 by adopting Ordinance No. 5422 which
adopted additional 2000 budget appropriations of funds in various accounts in
several funds pursuant to RCW 35A.33.120; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn deems it necessary to appropriate
additional expenditures at year-end in various accounts in several funds of the
2000 budget; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been approved by one more than the
majority of all councilpersons in accordance with RCW 35A.33.120.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Purpose. The Mayor of the City of Auburn, Washington, is
herewith authorized to accept Schedule "A" relating to the additional
appropriation of funds of various accounts in several funds of the 2000 budget
pursuant to RCW 35A.33.120. A copy of said Schedule "A" is on file with the
City Clerk and available for public inspection.
Section 2. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out
the directions of this legislation.
Section 3. Effective date. This Ordinance shall be in force and take
effective five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.
