HomeMy WebLinkAbout5898 ORDINANCE NO.5 8 9 8 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CITY CODE TITLE 13 ENTITLED "WATER, SEWERS AND PUBLIC UTILITIES" FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVISING THE "TAKE OR PAY" WHOLESALE WATER RATES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate changes in the ''Take or Pay" wholesale rates. The water utility rates are being amended to conform to the Interim Water Sales Agreement between the City of Auburn and Covington Water District and Water District No. 111. Section 2. Auburn City Code Chapter 13.06, entitled "Water Utility - General Regulations," specifically Section 13.06.360 entitled "Rates - Generally" is hereby amended to adopt rate changes effective March 1, 2005, as follows: 13.06.360 Rates - Generally. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this ordinance. Section 4. Severabilitv. If any portion of this Ordinance or its application to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected. Section 5. Effective date.
