FT. IN SIZE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 5TH STREET N.E. IN THE 900 BLOCK, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON. WHEREAS, a petition dated September 5, 1980, together with plot plans and h ' exterior eleva tions therefor, has been submit ted to the Council of the City of Auburn, by RICHARD A. EIDAL, requesting a Conditional Use Permit on property M 0 zoned P,-2, for the purpose of constructing a duplex on a parcel of lan d 25,211 CIO square feet in size located on the south. side of 5th Street Northeast in the 900 block, within the City of Auburn, Washington, which property hereinafter legally described in Section 1 of this Ordinance and which property presently carries an R-2 (Single Family) classification; and WHEREAS, said request above referred to was referred by the City Council to the City Planning Commission for study and public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the request in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on December 2, 1980, and subsequent thereto, the City Planning Commission approved the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit on property zoned R-2, finding that the proposed use illustrated by the site development plans of the petitioner would not be unduly detrimental to the adjacent and surrounding properties and the enjoyment thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing to consider said petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn. City Hall at 3:00 P.M. on January 19, 1981, at the conclusion of'wh-ich the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as liereinab'ove stated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ------------------ Ordinance No. 3599 Page One 1-26-81 Section 1. Section 2. Consideration should be given to any requirements of the Public Works Department for the City of Auburn. Section 3. That the Conditional Use Permit shall be null and void if construction has not been commenced within one year after the adoption of this Ordinance. Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Auburn, Washington, is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County Auditor. ------------------- Ordinance No. 3599 Page Two 1-26-81 I .
