AN ORDIfIANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURy CODIFIED
CITY ORDIyANCE N0. 2.69.040 RELATIyG TO THE TERMS OF OFFICE
OF THE CITY OF AUBURN LIBRARY BOARD 0F TRUSTEES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIiJ
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Auburn Codified City Ordinance No. 2.69.040 which
reads as follows:
"Board of trustees - Terms.
The first trustees appointed shall determine by lot whose
term of office shall expire in one, two, three, four and five
years, respectively, and their terms shall begin after their
appointment has been approved by the city council, upon taking
the usual oath of qualification. The terms of office, except
the first, shall begin on the first Monday in June, and, at
the expiration of each trustee's term, the mayor shall appoint,
with the consent of the city council, one member for a five-year
term."
is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
