HomeMy WebLinkAbout3157 ORDINANCE N0. 3 1 5 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CREATING FUND ENTITLED FUND N0. -198 - ANTIRECESSION FISCAL ASSISTANCE FUND TO ACCOUNT FOR ALL MONIES RECEIVED FROM THE FEQERAL GOVERPJMENT FOR ANTI- RECESSION FISCAL ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY OF AUBURN. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is created in the office of the city director of finance a fund to be known as Fund No. 198 - Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Fund. Section 2. All monies received from the United States Government under the provisions of any federal antirecession fiscal assistance plan which has been enacted or which may be enacted in the future shall be deposited into the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Fund, together with any interest earned from investments of the fund. Section 3. Disbursements from the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Fund shall be as directed by the city council, subject to any rules and regulations which may be promulgated by the United States Department of the Treasury with respect thereto. Section 4. The Auburn Finance Director is authorized to invest such portion of the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Fund as in his judgment he deems reasonable and prudent. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
