AiV ORDINANCE OF TNE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHIyGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
AUBURN WAY SOUTH IN THE 3200 BLOCK, 4JITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN,
--i WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM 1=

C-1 and R-2 TO C-3.
` WhEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
Auburn, Washington, by RICHARD B. DeREMER, requesting the rezoning of the real

property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
was dated January 7, 1977; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 7:30 P.M. on February 8, 1977,
at the conclusion of which the Commission recommended the approval of the rezoning
of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the City Hall of the City of Auburn, at 8:00 P.M. on March 7, 1977, at
which time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning
Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY fl F AU3URN, WASHINGTON,DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land located on the south side of Auburn Way South in the 3200 block and known as
3245 Auburn Way South, situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of
Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned from C-1 (Light Commercial) and
R-2 (Single Family) to C-3 (Heavy Commercial), to-wit:
Parcel 1: That portion of the N 400 ft of the E 2/5 of E
1/2 of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Rzcords of King Go. Wash.
situated in Section 21, Township 21 N, R 5 EWM, City of
Auburn, County of King, State of Washington.

That portion of the v 400 ft of the W 1/2 of W 1/2 of
SE 1/4 of SiJ 1/4 of SW 1/4 Less N 250 ft and less that
portion for street, records of King County, Ldashington,
situated in Section 21, Township 21 N, Range 5 EWlN, City
of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington.
~ Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
1-) City of Auburn, encompassing this zoning use classification change, which

amendment is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby
~ approved.
~ Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
King County Auditor's Office.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
