HomeMy WebLinkAbout3165 ORDINANCE N0. 3 1 6 5 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING TNE PARKING OR STAVDIVG OF MOTOR VEHICLES UPON THE PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OR PUBLIC PLACES OF THE CITY OF AUBURw THAT WOULD OBSTRUCT ACCESS TO UNITED STATES MAIL BOXES AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. From and after the effective date of this Ordinance, it shall be a violation of the Ordinances of the City of Auburn, to stop, stand or park a motor vehicle upon the public highways or public places of the City of Auburn, except for the purpose of depositing or picking up mail, in such a manner so as to obstruct access or availability to United States post office boxes. Section 2. A violation of this Ordinance shall be subject to the penalty provisi.ons set forth in Auburn Codified City Ordinance 10.56.210. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
