ORDINANCE NO. 6 4 7 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO <br /> 6432, THE 2013-2014 BIENNIAL BUDGET ORDINANCE, AS <br /> AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO 6456, AND ORDINANCE <br /> NO 6462 AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF <br /> AUBURN 2013-2014 BUDGET AS SET FORTH IN <br /> SCHEDULE "A" AND SCHEDULE "B" <br /> WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council at its regular meeting of December 3, <br /> 2012, adopted Ordinance No 6432 which adopted the City of Auburn 2013-2014 <br /> Biennial budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council at its regular meeting of March 4, 2013, <br /> adopted Ordinance No 6456 (BA#1) which amended Ordinance No. 6432 which <br /> adopted the City of Auburn 2013-2014 Biennial budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council at its regular meeting of May 28, 2013, <br /> adopted Ordinance No 6462 (BA#2) which amended Ordinance No 6456 which <br /> adopted the City of Auburn 2013-2014 Biennial budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the Union Representatives of the Collective <br /> Bargaining Units representing the law enforcement officers of the City have been <br /> negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements between the two parties, but have <br /> had to contend with issues of staff overtime and work levels that could be <br /> ameliorated by increased staffing level of the City's law enforcement officers, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Auburn deems it necessary to appropriate additional <br /> funds to the various funds of the 2013 budget as outlined in this Ordinance (BA#2); <br /> and <br /> ------------------------- <br /> Ordinance No. 6472 <br /> August 5, 2013 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
