ORDINANCE NO. 6 4 6 5 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON ADDING NEW <br /> CHAPTER 2.22 TO THE AUBURN CITY CODE <br /> RELATING TO PARKS <br /> WHEREAS, In 1982 the Parks and Recreation Board ("Board"), under the <br /> authority of Chapter 2.42 of the Auburn City Code, promulgated a Manual of <br /> Policies and Procedure, which has been updated over the years, and <br /> WHEREAS, in 2006, the City Council changed the role of the Board to that <br /> of an advisory body; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the Manual be updated to reflect <br /> current Parks and Recreation Department practices, and that those portions of <br /> the Manual that affect the rights and obligations of the public be moved into the <br /> Auburn City Code <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, <br /> WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN as follows: <br /> Section 1. New Chapter to City Code. That a new Chapter 2.22 be <br /> and the same hereby is added to the Auburn City Code to read as follows: <br /> Chapter 2.22 <br /> PARK CODE <br /> Sections: <br /> 2.22.010 Chapter constitutes park code. <br /> 2.22.020 Exercise of police power <br /> 2.22.030 Definitions. <br /> 2.22.040 Permits —Assemblies, entertainment, etc. <br /> 2.22.050 Permits — Generally. <br /> 2.22.060 Reserved. <br /> 2.22.070 Destruction of park property <br /> 2.22.080 Intoxicating liquors. <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> Ordinance No 6465 <br /> November 13, 2013 <br /> Page 1 of 10 <br />
