3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
AUBURN CITY CODE 13 . 20. 440 PERTAINING TO CITY OF AUBURN SEWER

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
6 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
� Section 1. The purpose of this amendment is to
S incorporate a Metro change in the residential customer rate.
9 Section 2 . Section 13 . 20.440, . entitled "Fees and
10 charges!' of Chapter 13 .20 of the Auburn City Code is hereby
11 amended as follows:

5 Nonsingle-family accounts will be. allowed
6 to average winter water consumption for the
� months of December through April to determine
8 , the summer sewer rates for the months of June,
9 July, August, and September. Said allowance
10 shall be upon application and with appropriate
11 justification that additional summer usage does
12 not enter the sewer system.
13 Nonsingle-family accounts without city
14 Water service shall be charged at the
15 applicable rate above inside-the-city or
16 outside-the-city rate per one hundred cubic
1� feet after the minimum seven hundred fifty
18 cubic feet. The customer shall have installed
19 a city supplied water meter or other acceptable
20 means of recording use, by applying for a
21 permit under Section 13 . 04 . 110, which shall be
22 read by the water department to determine
23 sewage charges on private systems.

12 Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
13 force five days from and after its passage, approval and
14 publication as provided by law.
