ORDINANCE NO. 819
AN ORDINANCE: Approving and accepting on behalf of The City
of Auburn a written deed of conveyance from White River Valley Post No.
1741 , Veterans of Foreign Wars , dated November 30 , 1938 , for the pur-
pose of widening and improving a portion of Fourth Street S.E. in the
" City of Auburn.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That them'certain written deed of conveyance , dated
November 30 , 1938 , wherein White River Valley Post No. 1741 , Veterans
of Foreign Wars , is Grantor and The City of Auburn is Grantee and where-
by the Grantor therein conveys and quit-claims to The City of Auburn for
public street and highway purposes , and for such purposes only, the
following described real estate:
The South 30 feet of the West 167.50 feet of Lot
52 of Riverview Addition to The City of Auburn as
the same appears on the recorded plat thereof now
of record in Volume 9 of plats , page 90 , records
of King County, Washington , including river bed
adjoining;
and which deed of conveyance has been tendered by said White River
Valley Post No. 1741 , Veterans of foreign Wars , to The City of Auburn,
be and the same hereby is approved and accepted by The City of Auburn.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed
to file said written deed of conveyance with the County Auditor of
King County , and that the land conveyed by said deed shall constitute
a portion of Fourth Street S.E. in The City of Auburn.
