The survey will adjust the boundary line common to the two parcels by extending the most westerly line of the Q City's parcel northerly to the north line of the Supervalu Holdings parcel. In addition to the required(napping for the BLA, Parametrix surveyors will map that portion of the Supervalu Holdings parcel being conveyed to the City. This W portion of the work will be separate from the BLA map, and will be provided to the City as a base map for use in Q engineering design. SCOPE OF WORK H Z Parametrix proposes the following work: W • Establish horizontal and vertical control by locating and measuring controlling monuments along 15th Street SW • Map any improvements found along the newly extended line, as well as the existing fence line along the northerly boundary line. • Prepare legal description and exhibit map for a 15-foot-wide Storm Drainage Easement along the northerly line of the Supervalu Holdings Parcel. • Provide a separate topographic base map of existing conditions of the area to be conveyed to the City of Auburn as a result of the proposed BLA. Mapping will include a 10-foot overlap of the subject area. • Locate and confirm Storm Manhole 237. Provide invert elevation of all visible pipes. • Prepare legal descriptions for use to convey property, as well as prepare revised legal descriptions for the adjusted parcels. Parametrix will prepare a Boundary Line Adjustment(BLA) in accordance with the requirements as defined by the City of Auburn's municipal code chapter 17.06. Mr. Robert R. Burton, PLS June 20,2013 Parametrix Page 2 Parametrix will prepare a rough draft drawing in AutoCAD format, allowing stakeholders to review a graphical representation of existing conditions and confirmation of proposed boundary lines. Once the adjusted lines are accepted, and the City has reviewed the BLA,Parametrix surveyors will set a 5/8-inch rebar with plastic cap at the new corner common to both parcels. DELIVERABLES • Required copies of the Application for Boundary Line Adjustment. • Required copies of the Boundary Line Adjustment Authorization. • Ten(10) copies of the BLA drawing for submittal review • Readable compact discs containing digital version of all submittals. • Legal descriptions for those portions of property to be conveyed as defined in the BLA. • AutoCAD files for both BLA and base map topography. Buildings and other structures will be mapped to the limits of their footprint with limited detail. The intent of this survey is to provide the City with a base map for use in designing on-site surface water collection and drainage. Boundary lines and easements will be shown on the map using record information. In addition, the base map will be supplemented with data already collected by the City of Auburn Survey Department. This includes horizontal and vertical control as well as storm structures with measure-down values and defining size, type, invert elevations and direction of visible pipes. SCOPE OF WORK 0 Parametrix proposes the following work: • Establish horizontal and vertical control by locating and measuring controlling monuments along 15th Street SW. • Map existing conditions and improvements within the tax parcels as described above including storm structures along the westerly side of C Street lying 100 feet northerly and southerly from the intersection with the access road abutting the northerly boundary line of said parcels. • Large poplar trees along the northeasterly limits of the site will be mapped as "edge of vegetation" without defining each tree's center or drip line. For those trees lying within a triangular section of TPN 242104-9075,they will be located at center of tree with each tree's description and drip line. • Large piles of debris and or rubble will be defined by a single line of enclosure, with no additional data to define its volume or topography. Mr. Robert R. Burton, PLS September 18,2013 Parametrix Page 2 • Review title reports for the above referenced tax parcels, identify all easements of record and plot on map if possible. • Prepare base map at 1"=20' showing 1'contours and spot elevations for clarity. DELIVERABLES • Topographic Survey Base Map hard copy at 1"= 20' • Digital copies of base map in AutoCAD Civil 3D Release 13. SCHEDULE Parametrix will commence field work 3 days from notice to proceed and deliver base map drawings within 10 working days after completion of field work. We anticipate approximately 4 weeks to complete this project— subject to title reports and amendments. ASSUMPTIONS • Updated title reports will be ordered and paid for by City of Auburn. • Horizontal Datum: NAD 83/91 as established by the City of Auburn. • Data will be gathered using non-satellite terrestrial methods, using prism poles and trigonometric functions to generate horizontal and vertical values. • City will provide underground utility locations prior to field mapping. FEES • Time and materials not to exceed$12,200.00. Please note that there is $3,550.00 left in our budget for the previous Boundary Line Adjustment Task Order that was not completed because of the sale to Albertson's. Depending upon how the City wishes to account for the closure or amendment of that task, this new fee may be offset by the remainder in the previous budget.
