PUBLIC HEARINGS
Application No. ZOA06-0004Amendments to various sections of Title 17, Auburn City Code,
Land Division Ordinance, regarding lot address assignment and document recording procedures.

Downtown Urban Center (DUC) Zone - Amendments to Auburn City Code, Title 18, Zoning, to
create a new Chapter 18.29, Downtown Urban Center (DUC) District and related minor reference
changes to Chapter 18.04 (Definitions), Chapter 18.06 (Districts and Map), Chapter 18.48
(Supplemental Development Standards), Chapter 18.50 (Landscaping and Screening), Chapter
18.52 (Off-Street Parking and Loading) and Chapter 18.56 (Signs); and repeal of existing Chapter
18.28 C-2 Central Business District in its entirety. TOGETHER WITH amendments to the City's
Zoning Map to change the zoning of properties designated as "Downtown" on the Comprehensive
Plan Land Use Map to "DUC" Downtown Urban Center. This will apply to various properties
currently zoned R4, C1, C2 and C3.

City of Auburn 2006 Comprehensive Plan Amendments. Amendments consist of amendments to
the City of Auburn Comprehensive Plan Map (CPM) and amendments related to Comprehensive
Plan Policies and Text (PIT). (NOTE: Additional plan amendments will be considered by the
Auburn Planning Commission at a subsequent meeting.)
ADJOURNMENT
The City of Auburn Planning Commission is a seven member advisory body that provides recommendations
to the Auburn City Council on the preparation of and amendments to land use plans and related codes such
as zoning. Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
Actions taken by the Planning Commission are not final decisions; they are in the form of recommendations
to the City Council who must ultimately make the final decision.
