Re: Streetscape Costs
Background: The City of Auburn maintains many "street beautification areas"
throughout the community. City Council has requested a review of the areas maintained as
well as the "cost of maintenance".
Current Situation:
Attachment A indicates the current "non-park areas" that are maintained by the City of
Auburns Parks Division. The areas range from parking lots to landscape strips.
Attachment "8" shows the typical "level of service" at which we are currently maintaining
park space. Most of our spaces are maintained at Levell, with some at Level 2. Additional
properties would require the addition of resources or a reduction in the current LOS.
Attachment "3" indicates the cost of maintaining Lakeland Linear Park excluding the cost of
irrigation.
